What does the hardware privacy switch control?
The camera and microphone privacy switch electrically removes the protected cameras and microphones from software control. Software cannot simply override that electrical state.
What does the red LED mean?
When Lockdown Mode is active, a red LED provides a visible indication that the protected camera and microphone capabilities have been disabled.
What does the Wireless Privacy Control do?
The right-side physical control initiates a software-based function that disables cellular connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is separate from the hardware-enforced camera and microphone privacy switch.
Which operating systems can I choose?
The Hiroh Phone is available with Android 16 or /e/OS. Both share the same camera and microphone hardware privacy control.
When does shipping begin?
Android 16 version: shipping the week of September 28, 2026. /e/OS version: shipping in October 2026.
How does the reservation work?
Pay the reservation amount shown in our shop. The remaining balance, plus applicable taxes and shipping, is invoiced when your device is ready to ship.
